On a fishing trip to Alaska “Cowboy James” was first exposed to the poetry of Robert Service, best known for “The Cremation of Sam McGee.” Later he was given a book of cowboy poetry, and he was hooked. He’s anxious to share this artform with new audiences and embraces the opportunity to support the Booth Western Art Museum in dispersing knowledge related to America’s Western heritage.
